Opinion on this haircut?

Seriously considering this, to be honest responses likely won't change my mind, but the 2 people I told IRL told me it was 'chavy and childish'

For context, im 33 and have a somewhat 'bohemian' look. Generally curious as ive never actually seen anyone sporting this 'undercut' hair style.

My only concern would be the undercut would be a PITA if you grow it out.

Undercuts have been popular for years. You might not have seen it on a school-gate mum, but you would if you spent any time with 20 somethings.

Most I know are growing them out in lockdown. It's not a particularly modern look and would look a bit try-hard, to be honest.

I had an undercut when my Psoriasis went mental about 4 years ago. It was brilliant for that and the gym.

I'm in my 40s and anybody informing me I couldn't have a hairstyle that accommodated aspects of my disability because it offended their sense of poshness would have been told in a cut glass accent to fuck right off.

Get the haircut you want. Not what somebody else tells you to have.

I don’t like them one bit so I’d never get one. Other people can do what they like as long as they’re happy or their hair is easier to manage and I keep my opinions about undercuts looking awful in my own head as I do with most things I don’t like unless I’m asked about them on Mumsnet

DD had one a couple of years ago - it looked OK but not as classy as her usual up do (swishy hair, long neck).
