A really strong smelling Christmassy Soap?

I know we've had some good soap threads, but I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get hold of a really strong smelling Christmassy/Wintery smelling soap please? One which fills the bathroom with a lovely warming scent?
I've tried lots of soaps and it must be my sense of smell going a bit, but they all tend to be super subtle.
I'd love a ginger/spicy/clementine type of scent, but am open to any ideas except a pine smell. Preferably not too expensive, but willing to pay a bit for something really yummy.
TIA!

Lush used to do one called something like eggnog, it was gorgeous. Not sure if they still do though.

Thank you for the suggestions - good things to look at. Much appreciated!

Waitrose do a clementine and ginger which I really like

Kew Gardens do really nice, deeply fragrant soap (it is quite expensive though). They have some spicy and citrusy scented ones that would be good for Christmas.

Scottish fine soaps have 4 Christmas ones at the top of this page here

Hand wash in a pump or bar soap?

I got a home bargains one a pump- about 79p and amazing! It was red -no idea on the name but smelt Christmassy - like clove and spice etc.

Lush soaps are rubbish they stink to high heaven then rapidly lose their scent and they don't last long. Utter crap.

MarkRuffaloCrumble · 13/09/2020 20:38

I was going to say TK Maxx or Homesense too. I love going in there and smelling their soaps Grin They’re bound to have something that fits the bill.

MarkRuffaloCrumble · 13/09/2020 20:39

The Nesti Dante soaps are usually recommended on here as long lasting in both fragrance and body. I’ve bought quite a few of them from Amazon but again, TK Maxx usually have some of theirs in stock too.

I'm currently using the Waitrose clementine&ginger soap and can only smell a faint scent! I'm quite prepared to believe the problem is my nose, not the soap, but I clearly need a powerful scent to detect it!
I think I'd prefer a soap bar as opposed to liquid.
Thank you all so much for your thoughts.

Heavenly ginger lily by Molton Brown?

Eaumyword · 13/09/2020 21:02

At risk of sounding a bit princess and pea, Heavenly Gingerlily is too soft a scent for me, I know it and it's pretty, but I'm after a damn good tango slap of Christmas!
I think I'll have a mosey round Home Bargains and TK Maxx at some point this week, although I'm quite tempted by loads of those soaps from the Scottish Fine Soaps link upthread.

I really like creme brulee by Lush, they bring it out at Christmas time :)

Eaumyword · 13/09/2020 21:05

Actually I do love a creme brulee smell - used to love Laura Mercier foodie smell bath/shower stuff.

A really strong smelling Christmassy Soap?

I am a big fan of bad soap and have tried loads. In terms of strong scents, I think the Emma bridgewater ones are pretty strong smelling. For refeeence, I’ve tried many - body shop, nesti dante, Elemis, Cole and something, Bronley, Molton Brown, occitane etc.

happysunr1se · 13/09/2020 21:31

Roger et Gallet soaps are very highly scented, they sell them at M and S, I like figuier and gingembre.

Also I have a couple of soaps from Sting in the Tail, the market soaps, in autumn fruits which is a great super strong frangranced, very sudsy soap and the fig one which I haven't tried yet.

Both these brands soaps I've tried are triple milled..dunno if this has anything to do with the strong scent. I've always found the veg type soaps (generally translucent soaps?) to be not very lathering and not very scented ultimately.

Eaumyword · 14/09/2020 15:50

A little update: Did a quick dash into TM Maxx/Homesense and Home Bargains earlier. In typical style, I didn't find what I was after, but was distracted by these, which smell gorgeous! Thought I'll give them a go and if the smell/texture is good, I'll treat myself to the Christmassy Scottish Fine Soap ones someone kindly linked.
Think there's something in what you say @happysunr1se - for me, the glycerine ones aren't as good as the milled creamy type.
I looked out for the Home Bargains Clove&Spice liquid hand soap, but ours doesn't have it yet.
Thanks again for all the useful suggestions. I'll most likely work through them all!Grin
