Really missing the stylish chat from the MN Voguers. Where have you all gone? Can we set up a new thread?

Legres boots. They are not my normal at all - but after months of casual clothes, I’m trying to be more ‘every day classy’ - hope they will be smart with black jeans?

Outfit of the day - sad to say am in Sweaty Betty leggings and a tee shirt after a walk earlier. Must up my game!

Don’t remember maradebois and can’t think who the band tee person was. I guess they’ve all gone their separate ways. I know I wasn’t much in the mood for style chat over lockdown.

I think the band T lady was called onenightimemenace or something similar? She used to post on the perfume thread too I think, but I don't know if she still does. They may all have moved somewhere more private - they used to chat about personal stuff sometimes.

Anyway nice boots! I'd love a Max Mara coat but it would have to be second hand and I've never seen one that was the right colour or fit.

Oh yes! Onelittlelady was her name. She was so cool and seemed so lovely.

I have a couple of MaxMara costs, one actually handed down from my DM and another from a consignment store in NY. Rarely pay full price for anything to be honest. It’s not usually necessary.

Love to see a new style chat. Feel like I have lost my style mojo in a big way. Lockdown saw me buy a few beautiful dresses from the Outnet (DVF, Ganni, Hoffman Copenhagen) but I feel like they’re for a life I’m not sure I have. No idea what to wear this Autumn!

Exactly @IrishMumInLondon2020, I feel like my beautiful workwear clothes are for a life I no longer have.

Style chats have become a bit too informational mostly, IMO. I tend to lurk and read, but used to love the MNV thread, for the ideas.

I don't need glorious clothes for my life now but I still love them and try to buy things that walk the razor's edge. Gorgeous utilitarian is my objective, and it's damned hard to find.

hello! yes, it is me with the boots and band t-shirts!! the voguers are all, as far as i know fine but just arent on the thread, it really did die off during lockdown, mostly because no one was spending, and general personal issues which arent mien to go into. Im friends with some of them on facebook and can report they are doing well. ambernectarine hasnt posted in ages but i assure you, her fashion is still as fabulous as ever!!!

I used lurk on A &W treads and posted a few times on MNV then disappeared to have another baby and move house, but funnily was just thinking about winter coats scarves and boots this week and MMV came to mind ! Glad to hear the voguers are doing fine.

Hello! We are all fine. A few of us have had a tough couple of years of the realities of life, bereavements, relationship and children issues etc taking up headspace. A couple of us had our very own Mumsnet/Real life crossover stalkerswhich increasingly put us off posting. The pandemic/lockdown was the last straw, especially with so many other people suffering.

Big wave to MNV contributors and lurkers. I miss the thread a lot. 2020 has been unrelentingly shite and given that I work in public health I've been on 60 hour weeks while living on caffeine, sugar and wine.

I bought this sequin tiger tshirt today which has made me happy

As you've probably seen the MNV thread has been resurrected please come over and join us you know we're a welcoming bunch and really no budget is too small - Primark to Prada everything goes. Or keep posting here and start your own - you can never have enough fashion threads imo.

Lord I'm sorry to hear about the stalkering Blingy, I did wonder if something like that might be going on. Looking forward to some links now, please do not disappoint
