Work clothes

I was back in an office environment for the first time since lockdown. I do freelance work and go around different offices. I always wore trousers and a nice top and cardigan for work but today I just felt so uncomfortable, I don't know if it was just after living in comfy things for months! My trousers were horribly uncomfortable and I have sciatica just now and could seriously barely walk in my high heels + but they're needed for the length of trousers! It was a long day today and I would have loved to have been comfier, it would have made my day so much more pleasant! My top half was comfy but I hated the trousers and heels.

That particular office is where I do most of my work and it's quite dressed down. I have no idea what I could wear though, that would look vaguely smartish but be comfy....any ideas would be so appreciated.

Take your trousers up a bit and wear flat shoes or trainers. I've swapped to trainers from heeled boots . Bliss.

Wear shoes you can walk in. Hem the trousers.

Could you wear loafers?

Heels are over.
