Hi,
We have a 30 minute walk to school. I want my children (ds 8,dd4) to have waterproof and warm winter coats for tjem to wear. I'm finding waterproof then coats or sherpa fleece lined shower proof coats but I want the best if both :-)
Does anyone have any reccomendations?

Try Trespass, Regatta, Moutain Wearhouse etc - they have waterproof jackets, often with fleece lining or insulation. DD has a Regatta one atm which we got last autumn & it's lasted really well. Will need a new one this year just because she's grown.

We've had a couple from Regatta, warm and seem to keep dgd dry on her walks to and from school, as well as at playtime (assuming she wears it then)

My grandson has a fab new coat
from Mountain Warehouse, waterproof outer layer, removable inner layer.

Having recently become the slaves of a puppy, my wife and I bought waterproof raincoats from MW and they have proved to actually be Waterproof in the worst of downpours!

My daughter did forest school at nursery and the coats and waterproof trousers that they sell in lidl (on from today) were amazing. She never got wet even being outside for 4-5 hours, sitting on the floor etc
