I am short and never feel put together unless I am wearing high heels, but I walk a lot so need to be comfy. What do you all think of these boots? I love the new trend of plain biker boots but they're just too long on the leg for me and cut me off at a funny place. I am 50 by the way, and non slim size 10 (not fat either).

What about these. They are similar but better ( I think anyway)
I am short and bought dune boots similar to these last year. They were very comfy , and they have just enough of a heel. I know what you mean about flat boots when you are short

I like those boots, Strictly, thank you, they're very lovely. But the shaft is so much higher than the ones I've linked to, that they would just reach higher up my calf to the bottom of my trousers and not show any ankle.

Yeah, it is not your age. The boots are objectively heinous.

@PeaceLoveAndCandy

Thank you for your opinions. They seem quite divided down the middle I'd say? So those who think they're horrible, is it because of my age? I am too short to feel well put together in flat shoes/boots. But I need to be comfortable Confused.
Nothing to do with your age and everything to do with the boots! I’m 5’ 2” and never wear anything but flats. There are so many really nice boots around this autumn, you can find so much better!

I live in Scotland - and find it too chilly to show my ankle in winter

Strictly I live in the SE and I am 50. I am always hot!! Shock

Oh dear... I really like them! I'm 40 and I'd wear them with ankle trousers. And (pre covid anyway) I could happily walk all day in those heels.

The Dune ones that someone posted are also lovely but I hated the M&S snake ones.

I really like them and have a similar pair. Worn with ankle trousers, midi length skirts. Block heel is easy for me to walk in too. I'm late 20s :) if you like them, go for it!
