Black knee high leather boots?

I fancy a pair of knee high leather boots for autumn / winter. I'd wear them with opaque tights and skirts (short and longer length) but not over jeans. I'd like some height but also comfy enough to actually walk in. I don't mind spending a bit to get some good quality ones.

I quite like the look of these in Russell and Bromley but not sure if they look too chunky to look elegant(ish) with skirts.

Those Russel and Bromley ones are lovely! They could be ok depending on the skirt. Maybe less elegant more trendy?

Next have loads of boots at the moment.

I prefer the Geox ones as theyre a bit slimmer and more streamlined. The R&B ones are quite chunky, so I guess just depends on your frame and if you can pull them off. I've got very small ankles and short legs so they'd look ridiculous on me.

I've been looking for something similar for a while. I'm wanting something less clumpy (already have more chunky boots) but it seems you have to have heels on the less clumpy
