I’m sure this must of been talk of on mn.

So I’m 62,
Never get blackheads, just these white things under my skin, I use magnifying mirror to see and get them out. There on my nose, sides of nose, below bottom lip both sides
Under eyes and cheeks. Well you might as well say everywhere expect forehead

I bloody hate the things
I want clear flawless skin, I’m bloody 62 not 16
I’ve bought more products than boots have over the years, off the shelf to high end
Last one being Obagi

The thing that mainly happens is, my skin gets ver dry and then I try to remove the dry skin. It looks a mess even when I put moisturiser on after washing.
I’ve tried for sensitive skin, for oily skin, for dry skin. Still get white comedones followed with dry skin

Aghhhhhh

Have you tried the Paula’s Choice 2% BHA lotion? People rave about it for exactly this xx

Are you sure they’re comedones and not sebaceous filaments? Because those will always come back.

I have oily skin and combat it with more oil i.e. I use oil on it so that it’s not trying to create its own oil. I’m trying to work out what the opposite of that might be with dry skin...

They sound like milia to me

granadagirl · 08/09/2020 18:22

Thank for your help
So I’ve looked on the net and i think I’ve found what I think it is ??
Definitely not this milia 1
It looks more like these, when squeezing them

So what do I buy???
Don’t forget, if too harsh it will dry my skin out bad

Could be sebaceous hyperplasia...

granadagirl · 08/09/2020 19:02

No definitely does not look like that, just seen pics

Following.

I have the same as that lady in the picture, as well as milia, sebaceous filaments, sebaceous hyperplasia and a few tiny cysts.
