Thanks @84claire84 DH did good although really it was DM apparently my she dragged him to an antique centre in a last minute panic on Xmas Eve after he'd run out of ideas & couldn't find anything.

Combination of old cut and emerald cut diamonds in platinum rub over setting on yellow gold band - think it's about 1.75 carats. Lovely and sparkly but doesn't catch.

P.S. Was surprised - but delighted obviously - to receive my eternity ring for a "random" (21st) anniversary but it turns out DH got his significant anniversaries confused with birthdays and thought that 21 was the big one, love him.

P.P.S. To add to my rings' story, my engagement ring, being Victorian, is now very thin so I'm replacing the shank with one from a ring which my godmother gave me. Our jeweller (old friend of DH) pointed out it was lovely that it would make it even more personal. What a sentimental old Hector he is.

I had to cut mine off that my fiancé proposed with as I couldn't get it offso I got to choose a new one and I am obsessed with it.

Mine has just been upgraded after 23 years. My original engagement ring was really thin and we were only 20 so not huge as we had no money then!!!!
