Good bristle hairbrush

I want a proper hairbrush with bristles instead of the plastic "bristles". I used to have a nice Denman one, but i have lost it. Should i get Denman again, or is there a better / nicer brand?

BTW, i like the proper bristle brushes because they make my hair look really shiny. The plastic kind dont do that so well.

Definitely Mason Pearson. I have two mixed bristle ones and they are excellent. If you sign up with Escentual.com they will mail you when they have 20% off their site. I've tried wet brushes and tangle teasers and found they didn't compare to a MP brush.

Mason Pearson - best hairbrushes ever.

I’ve had a pure bristle Mason Pearson for about 30 years and it is still in perfect condition- and it is so much better for your hair than a plastic brush. It was given to me as a child so I had no idea how expensive they were until recently! But its cost per use must be fractions of a penny by now.
