Jogging bottoms/yoga pants

Or whatever they're called these days.

This sort of thing Something to wear to be cosy and comfortable on a chilly day.

What's with the bare ankles? They're going to look rubbish with long socks so there's no gap and no cold ankles Grin So what's the alternative?

No, I'm not considering spending £95 but essentially the same style seems to be the only option in all price points.

Uniqlo joggers are fantastic and great value (around £25 usually). I absolutely love their fleece-lined joggers and jeans as they are still stylish but super comfortable

I got some lovely long jogging bottoms in H & M last week. They cater very well for people with long arms and legs.

These ones from Victoria’s Secret are brilliant. Thick enough to be warm/hold you in and 12% elastic which makes them very comfortable

I love Decathlon's yoga trousers. They're really comfy and only cost like £7.

FinnyStory · 06/09/2020 15:35

Yes, all lovely but what do you do about the gap betwixt sock and trouser?

How cold do your ankles tend to get Grin

I would wear them in autumn with trainers so the gap is ok, or if for indoors only, the Victoria’s Secret one that a PP posted look spot on & no gap.

The H & M joggers have no gap. That is why I bought them. I dislike the fashion for ankle grazers. It looks lovely, but for me is very impractical as I suffer from cold feet if I don't wear socks.

These are the ones I bought

Ginfordinner · 06/09/2020 15:58

Wrong link. These are what I bought

Ah the models 5 10. For most of us mere mortals those would be full length. For me, probably too long! I too hate chilly ankles! Maybe buy from the tall section of somewhere that does that to get longer ones?

Ginfordinner · 06/09/2020 20:45

Interestingly, I was looking at some trousers on another website, showing trousers with a 30" leg length on 5'9" models, and they covered their ankles Confused

I don't believe them. I am 5'7" and wear 32" leg jeans.
