Warm but stylish winter coat?

I have revamped my wardrobe a bit over lockdown (have felt like a frump since arrival of DC1 four years ago). But I still desperately need to replace my battered, tatty (£30 from New Look!) maternity parka. Particularly seeing as the pregnancy ended at the beginning of 2019! Blush I really want something a bit nicer now.

I'd probably spend up to £200 for a decent quality coat that will wear and wash well.

I quite like the look of a long puffa-type coat, but not sure if I will end up looking like the hungry caterpillar?

I more of less live in jeans and trainers, with the odd casual dress or midi-skirt... so want something more casual than smart. I like khaki or grey as think they go with anything, but happy to consider other colours (just don't want something that will date).

Help mumsnetters!

I'm just shy of 5ft 7" and a UK12-14, if that makes any difference to recommendations!

I bought a nice one from superdry last winter. I searched for ages. I got a bright red one.

How about something like this?

Long enough to keep you warm but not too long you'll look like a hungry caterpillar 😉(I don't think you would look like one if you did have a long one!)

Joules might be a good shout if its a puffa you are after!
