Make my fine hair shine!

I have medium brown (dyed with semi permanent) mid length hair. Is trimmed regularly. My issue is my hair is never shiny. I wash with tresemme clarifying shampoo and conditioner and use a John Frieda repair mask twice a week, but even then, it's dull and looks greasy. I do have to wash my hair daily too otherwise it looks like I have dunked it in oil.

Any suggestions to bring the shine back to my hair! Here is a pic of my hair JUST washed, dried and straightened

A hairdresser told me to do 2 shampoos when washing hair, don't use loads of shampoo though. I don't actually do it but maybe that would help. Also only condition from about half way down and mainly the ends.

@ReginaaPhalange I think you should consider upping the quality of your products. Hair fix do an excellent weekly purifier which removes all build up without stripping the hair. They have their own website and do lots of offers. It looks as if you have very fine hair but lots of it - if that’s the case, Kerastase densifique shampoo would suit you.
I agree with double washing using very little shampoo - you only need a bit with good quality products so it doesn’t really work out to be more expensive. Try to get right into the scalp and give it a good massage like they do in a salon - makes a massive difference.
I think you could be overusing masks and it’s weighing your hair down. I do one monthly and my hair is of similar type and texture to yours.
Your hair looks in good condition but is coated and that’s preventing shine.

I would sack off the tresemme, I find it quite bad for product build up. I usually have a couple of diff shampoos to switch round every few days which reduces the product build up that leave your hair flat and greasy looking. Volumising shampoo might help (I like frizz ease weightless wonder, but I'm sure there are probably better ones that someone with better beauty knowledge will know!). I'd try not to use too much conditioner if your hair looks flat and greasy. Moroccan oil is great too for shine, add a little to damp hair.

Salon professional brands are the only way my hair has ever looked really good.

Cheap shampoos brought on the shelves of supermarkets or Boots just don't compare to a professional brand.

I change my shampoo every time and alternate between sls free shampoos and conditioners and I have fine hair.

I also wash every other day now, if I do it daily it gets greasy quickly.

My hair is shiny.

To be clear, I alternate between a few shampoos for each wash. Currently I'm using OGX Apple cider vinegar clarifying, Happy naturals purple one (maybe plum flavour) and herbal essences Hemp and aloe. I try to stay away from sulphates and parabens.

I have fine blonde hair and was told to avoid clarifying shampoos as it stripped my hair too much and was too harsh.

I'd agree with others on the professional shampoos. I now use Philip Kingsley Body Building shampoo and conditioner, which is brilliant for fine hair. I also use label M hair radiance oil after washing, and only wash my hair every other day if not less now and I was washing it every day before.
