Going out shoes with ankle grazers

I have a lovely new pair of ankle grazer biker jeans. I will wear them with trainers mostly but what shoes do you dress up ankle grazers with?

I'd probably wear heels of some kind to dress them up; either shoes or sandals.

They are from Mint Velvet.

I have a pair of Kate Appleby which are kind of boot sandals but they are the wrong colour. I am just wondering if toe out boots are a spring summer buy.

Brogues?

I will try on Brogues with them but I don't really feel dressed up in Brogues. Maybe I just need to find nicer ones
