Ugh...

Must be cotton, stretchy ones, with long sleeves. And not expensive.

Only found Next so far which she isn’t keen on. And she hates animal prints.

Losing the will to live...

Forgot to say, she needs tall ones. Otherwise they look like pedal pushers.

I think she’s grown an inch a month in lockdown. And she could be 5ft 11

I'm 6ft and gave up on pjs a long time ago stupid cuffed trousers where the cuff goes around my calf and not my ankle

Would she consider sleeping in anything else?

My current bedtime style is a pair of leggings and either a long sleeved T-shirt or thin sweatshirt from primark

PaulinePetrovaPosey · 05/09/2020 08:36

Men's PJs. Long enough and fewer naff prints!

TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 05/09/2020 08:36

She doesn’t like leggings in bed. Too tight.

Why is finding longer length pyjamas so hard?£

TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 05/09/2020 08:36

Ahhh men’s. That’s interesting!

Long Tall Sally when they’re back online?

Honeywort · 05/09/2020 08:39

Yep, came on to say men’s too. I’m 5ft 10 so share the problem. Hush do a tall pj fitting as well, but they are expensive.

TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 05/09/2020 08:43

Thank you for all your help.

Unfortunately she gets bad eczema so can really only wear cotton.

The doughnut ones were good, but for some random reason, the bottoms were cotton and the top polyester!

I'm 5 10 and have a pair from Cyberjammies I love them. Check the sale part of the page. Just ordered a set of the hummingbird pjs for £24 instead of £49. I'm a 10/12 so I order a size 12, they're a nice fit and not short x

TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 05/09/2020 08:49

Off to look at Cyberjammies.

Why is this like the holy grail?

I’m 6ft and for some reason PJs are one of the hardest things to buy - I really like PJ bottoms to be good and long, hate getting chilly ankles in winter!

I tend to wear M&S men’s PJ bottoms in longer length. They’re all boring check patterns etc though, not particularly appealing for a teen girl!

TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 05/09/2020 08:54

I’ve looked on there.

I can’t find the tall ones, but they also seem to have polyester or modal in them😭

@TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince oh no, there's some different type material ones that might be worth looking at. They don't have a tall section they are just long anyway

TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 05/09/2020 09:19

Ok will have another look!

Even JL don’t sell them.

leafeater · 05/09/2020 10:42

Tk maxx do lots of great men's PJ bottoms which she can then team with plain t shirts.

geekaMaxima · 05/09/2020 11:06

John Lewis have some great mix and match pyjamas/loungewear in the men's section with nice prints. I'm tall and long-legged and they fit me well.

For instance, one of these bottoms;

Oysho do nice one, fatface are quite long, especially the mens!

cwtchesandprosecco · 05/09/2020 14:42

I struggle with this too at 5’11. I don’t mind next PJs, but I also find that the American brands in T K Max are a perfect length, they seem to come up longer.

TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 05/09/2020 22:08

Oysho look good. But all the trousers seem well above the models ankles.

Are they long?

Chelsea peers on ASOS are good for tall teenagers and rotate into the sale frequently. New Look have a tall range too that mine like. Gap outlet too

Tweetypietwo · 06/09/2020 08:09

I think they are long, the models are wearing them quite high up! These look reasonably long www.oysho.com/m/gb/pyjamas-and-homewear/pyjamas/view-all/watermelon-trousers-c1010277595p102483137.html

The delivery and returns and pretty quick of you wanted to order and try a few pairs

EdwardCullensBiteOnTheSide · 06/09/2020 08:30

When I've bought pj's from primark I've always wondered why they assume we are all giant, they're always far too long for me.

TheSpottedZebra · 06/09/2020 09:26

Another vote for men's PJs! I've found nice cotton ones (for me) in JL and TKMaxx, but also the odd gem in Sainsbury's and Asda! Much longer, often better made. And... pockets!

I've no idea how the ones for women online appear to sit so low on models who must be tall, when in real life they look like I'm showing off my cankles.

Dohorseseatapples · 06/09/2020 09:33

Does she like snoopy? 😂
