Anyone know the answer? I hate wearing jeans, find them so uncomfortable. Dont know what I will wear in the winter!

Lucy and yak cotton twill trousers

I would also like to know the answer to this, so bored of jeans.

This is the search of my life! Nothing looks quite the same. And I don’t get all the Lucy and yak love. Their trousers are all stiff and rigid. IMO am alternative to jeans means you can move and stretch in it. But joggers don’t look as cool.

Cigarette pants? M&S have some nice ones

I seem to find it hard to buy jeans that fit properly and look good. I I love it when it gets cold and I can wear an A line skirt, thick tights, fitted jumper and ankle boots or trainers. I am also collecting a few dresses including a denim dress that I know I will wear a lot this winter.

I had to give up on jeans after an op 2 years ago. I live in tunics and leggings (Seasalt, White Stuff etc) now, but still miss them!

nanbread · 05/09/2020 17:43

I wear a lot of high waisted cotton / linen trousers, I guess you might call them peg leg style, or some are more straight / wide leg.

You could try smart joggers.

You could also try denim trousers instead of jeans.

I think my problem is I need to lose a stone and then maybe I’d feel comfortable in jeans again!

Joining thread in the hope of some more answers. My jeans would also be a lot more comfortable if I didn’t keep trying to squeeze an extra ten pounds of gut into them.

If you still want jeans, but actually comfy, try Levi 724. Soft and stretchy, high waisted, total game changer. I've worn mine non stop, after getting fed up of being always in joggers/harems. And I usually can't bear jeans.

zeddybrek · 05/09/2020 23:07

Coated trousers or leggings!

Next do lovely ones with a slight stretch. So comfy and go with everything.

I have them in black, berry and navy and live in mine.
