Finding mens' trousers the right width...

so my chap has very muscular calves. 23.5cm circumference. Athletic fit trews seem to be designed for thick thighs rather than chunky calves and with modern trends for skinny fit it's almost impossible to buy jeans or casual trousers.

Any suggestions?

Sadly not wide enough.
Apparently 569s should be OK but you can only get them in the states

eBay has quite a few 569s for sale from UK sellers - might be something there.

Are you sure that's the right measurement? That would be very slender!

Thanks @petheridge sadly his middle is a little broader than those styles allow for but the style looks good so will come back to it when he's lost a bit more weight
