What size is jeans 28?

I can never decide whether to go for 28 or 29. I'm a 10 in dresses but slightly wide of hip!! Hourglass on a good day, pear on a bad one.

It totally depends on the jeans. I am a size 24 in some and yesterday tried on a 26 and it was sprayed onto me
if you can let me know the make I might have an idea

Depends. This side of the Atlantic, 28 would be a 10. US probably a 4. French maybe a 40. But these days even within one brand, a size 28 pair os jeans doesn't mean the waist is actually 28!

I'm a pear shaped 8-10 and 28 is what I would go for although my Whistles barrel jeans are 27s as they seem to be roomy.

28" is generally a 10. It does depend on the brand I'm 27" in Muji.

I'd say a 10 as a 25 is a 6 and 26 is an 8. I think it's 4 cm between sizes except for between a 6 and 8.

Depends on your body shape. I am an 8-10 in most clothing but 28 or 29 in jeans because I am straight up and down with no waist so things with tight buttons around the middle are difficult for me. It's sometimes annoying because a lot of jeans that fit me around the waist are baggy on the bum and thighs.

Depends on your body shape. I do agree with this. I am a 4 on the hips, 6 on the waist and 8 on top. Skinny jeans are okay but some others are baggy on the hips.

28 is a 10 but it varies in brands. 29is in-between a 10 and 12
