11yr old in Age 15 clothes and I need help

Hi, My 11 year old daughter is in age 15 clothes, not particularly overweight, (she may have a little bit of a lockdown tummy at the moment!) but she's tall and broad (she's in size 7 shoes already!). I use Next cause basically they're a godsend, but I am struggling for nicer stuff. Boden does upto 16 but it is extremely limited Joules only offer up to 12.

I'm really struggling. She is only just 11 so still likes all the girly stuff and the teen stuff just doesn't cut it. Any online stores that keep things girly and a little bit cute for this age group you can recommend? Thanks!

I’d say primark op, they have loads of adults clothes with characters such as Harry Potter, Llamas etc.
Dd is 11 and I buy her size 6.

Some of the stuff on SHEIN is quite “childish “ as such. Btw OP I’m in the same situation my Dd (8) is in size 12-13 clothes and a size 3 in shoe.

Uniqlo is good. Especially the UT graphic www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/women/featured/ut-graphic-print-collections

Joy louche have cute prints for smarter occasions

My DD was the same. Used to use Debenhams who did stuff up to age 14.

Onlythepoets · 04/09/2020 17:36

My dd found lots of things on Shein during lockdown. She had grown out of all the previous summer’s clothes so was desperate. We got t-shirts and joggers from the adult range but with embroidered or printed bees, butterflies or daisies.

Not sure what they are like ethically I’m afraid but everything fitted and washes nicely. Some of their stuff is very high fashion for teenagers eg cropped tops but tons of stuff on there so worth a look. (Note: it’s not Boden style)

Thanks so much everyone. I do use Next and they are great, I was just looking for some alternatives. A lot only go upto 14, having checked them out and she is a definite 15, (though I will check 14+ at H&M. I’ll have a look this morning at some of the others too, I do almost all of our shopping online but seems a trip to Primark is in order too. Thank you again, really appreciate it.

Another recommendation for Primark here
most of their ladies clothes seem to be upsized kids clothes. My girls love them (both tall, they've been in adult sizes since about age 11) loads of colour and unicorns, Harry Potter etc.

I have exactly the same problem OP. Same age, same size DD. My DD is also tall (5"9) so even when we can find nice things in older kid sizes, they're often too short. Women's wear is often just too grown up for her. She still likes bright colours and cute stuff rather than very teenagery or grown up stuff. Some good suggestions on here though. I might look at Joules adult stuff. Only problem is adult clothes cost a lot more than buying kids clothes.

Hollister? They do some nice graphic t shirts and the jeans come in different leg lengths!

Zara kids? Some of there stuff comes up quite big and jeans are usually pretty long too.

Does your daughter have a particular style?
