My skin journey

I think I must have tried everything and now I have signed up to Dermatica. Genuinely the last thing I am prepared to try before giving up at age 40. They're sending me Adapalene 0.1%, Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5%, Clindamycin 1% lotion. Will try and post pics if I'm not too depressed!
I don't use any skincare on my body and have soft, lovely skin with no issues. However, the skin on my face is another story. Am I always destined to look like a spotty teenager?!

Have you seen your dr?.

Oh I know I’ve been there - rounds of roaccutane still didn’t clear it. That cream sounds harsh? Be careful.
For me it was all about lifestyle and supplements. Biggest impact on my acne was DIM supplement - please research it and oestrogen dominance. Skincare alone cannot deal with acne that is hormonal.
Diet is also fundamental - no dairy or sugar and low glycaemic index foods only.
My acne is gone now - after 35 years of low self esteem and over compensating with other aspects of my behaviour. It’s all possible but you won’t find a cure in a cream.
