Nail varnish for children?

Dd (9) has requested nail varnish for her birthday.

To be honest, I am not that keen, but I have agreed that she can have some clear or subtle pale pink varnish.

I don't wear it myself, so my query is, are there brands which are better for your nails and environmentally friendlier? And the same for remover - I assume the little pads impregnated with remover are easier to use?

Can anyone recommend brands? I don't mind paying more for something kinder to nails (and the planet).

You can get wash off nail polish for kids. I haven't used it but could be a good option.

I got some frozen themed ones for DD (4) for Xmas stocking fillers as they are child friendly ones - washes off easily in a couple of minutes - I'd try something like that first
