Leather purse recommendations

I’m looking for a really nice leather purse. Could probably stretch to £100 for something special. I’ve always gone for cheap and cheerful before, but looking for an investment which will last years this time.

I love the And Mary purses/ wallets - they are having a sale at the moment so well within your budget.

I am not a fan of Radley bags but I do like their purses (conversely I love Aspinal bags but their purses aren't so great).

Always worth looking (proper looking - not online) in TK Maxx - I've bought my last two purses there, leather and at a good discount. But it's just luck as to what they'll have in.

That’s interesting to hear. I don’t like Radley bags either, so didn’t think to check out the purses. Maybe I need to give them a proper look.

I have one from Fossil that I really like.

Coach
Coccinelle
Aspinal of London

Wait for the sales and you should be able to get a purse under £100.

I have Shona Eastons Bertie purse in hot pink leather which can also be used as a small clutch.

Ime the Coach and Aspinal purses don't have nearly enough card slots. If you're like DD and do everything on your phone then that's ok, but I have loads of loyalty cards so need the slots.

purpledagger · 04/09/2020 11:11

Judy I used to have huge purses for all of my loyalty cards. I've now downloaded a few apps for my loyalty cards - nectar, Tesco and Boots. It's so much easier now and it means I can have a smaller purse.

@purpledagger I do want to have more on my phone but once in Tesco I tried to pay by phone, I hadn't updated the card that had been replaced due to fraud. It took me ages as I'm old and I know I was holding up the queue.

I'm not fast on my phone so cards and credit cards are quicker for me (not for my DC!). I need more phone practice. The thing is, it's usually only DD here and if I have a phone problem she will fix it immediately for me but she's too impatient to show me how she did it. I just need to get more familiar.

I do like purses though, what can I say Grin
