I really like this denim jacket I’ve got, but it’s about 1-2 sizes too big. There isn’t any in my size. Is it possible to shrink it on a hot wash then hot tumble dry?

Denim shrinks a little in the wash, but never two sizes. It's thick fabric and difficult to alter. I can only suggest you put on a few pounds. Wink

Ha ha, I’m trying to do the opposite! I guess i’ll just keep looking!

Does it look good oversized? Some denim jackets look great that way but it is a certain look! xx

I don't know, i really like it, it doesn't look really huge or like those oversized jackets i suppose, but it would look better if it was a size smaller. The seams on my shoulders sits ok, its not half way down my arms. I can pull the button side or other side so it crosses over to the other pocket, if that makes sense?

It has a raw hem too, so that's why i'm a bit reluctant of putting it on a really hot wash to try and shrink it! I may just ask how much it would be to have it altered, after all it could be just sides, under the arms that could be taken in.

Its 98% cotton and 2% elastine (sp) so it has that stretch in it too. I ordered a 16 because i know i've put on a bit of weight lately so thought i was playing safe!
