How do you maintain your clothes, shoes, bags?

Just curious how you maintain your clothing, shoes, coats, bags, etc and how often?

The last few years I have gradually made the switch from buying new fast fashion every season to now having better quality, classic things I can rewear year and year. This now means I need to do more maintenance on my wardrobe to keep it looking nice. This week I have de-bobbled my autumn/winter knits. I think this weekend I will also steam my coats and jackets to freshen them up for when the weather changes.

What kind of maintenance do you do?

I have an absolute rule that I never wear anything unless it's in perfect condition. This means that sometimes, things sit about waiting for maintenance for ... oh, to be honest, a year can go by and I don't do it.

You can only live like this if you have an awful, awful lot of clothes. I have an awful lot of clothes.

One of the maintenance things I do is that I'm really good at a bit of home cobbling - I'm great at fixing shoes. But it can, as I said, take me a year to get around to doing the whole lot in one go.
