Best Hair Straightener ?

need to replace my GHD, are they still the best. Money not really an issue but I have fine hair so think the Dyson one would be out for me and I don't really want to spend 500 quid on it
I also like to curl my hair if that makes a difference
Thanks

Well I was going to say kipozi wide plates.

Nyclair · 03/09/2020 19:58

I have fine hair and love my GHDs

Beachlovingirl · 03/09/2020 20:06

I went for cloud 9 and they are great. I have fine hair and found the new range of ghds gave me very static hair.

MrsR87 · 03/09/2020 20:06

Cloud nine, I love them!

I had ghds for years before getting cloud nine ones and I would not go back to them now. In my opinion, cloud nine are far superior.

Bookaholic73 · 03/09/2020 20:10

Cloud 9s are the best.

Maverick66 · 03/09/2020 20:39

Cloud nine

ParcelFarce · 03/09/2020 21:12

Yes to Cloud 9. GHDs were good 10-15 years ago but not so much now. I replaced my aged ones with Cloud 9s last year and have never looked back!

flametrees · 03/09/2020 21:27

Steam pod. Love mine.

Romanticrights · 03/09/2020 21:29

Cloud nine here too!

YorkshirePud1 · 03/09/2020 21:32

I have fine hair and really regret getting Cloud Nine's when my GHD's broke a few months ago. As soon as I straighten my hair all these tiny bits stick up as if my hair's static. But loads of people rate them really highly so I guess it just depends on your hair.

Thanks I have an old GHD but it really snags my hair and is hard to do waves with it so was looking to buy a new one

I have GHD but needed a spare pair, picked up a set in Sally’s for £24; they are amazing.

I have a pair of touch screen Glamouriser straighteners. Bought on a whim about 4 yrs ago I think, because they were on offer. Still look and work like new, far better than the GHDs or Corioliss I had before. They are really quick and seem to leave my hair very shiny in comparison to GHDs. Easy shape for curls too. On offer in a few places I see from google.
