Straight jeans

I've always browsed the style and beauty board but never posted. I'm after some help finding a decent pair of jeans. I've been wearing asda/new look/next for years and they never look good or last very long.

I'm a pear shape, size 12. Legs good but tummy not so much! I want some dark blue or mid blue jeans straight leg or not too skinny. Oh and a petite leg please. Budget about £50.

I’ve just bought a pair of 501s and I bloody love them - surprisingly flattering and super comfy, especially after a decade of skinny jeans! Got them on sale last week (sale price plus student discount was £50ish)

Ooh 501's were my absolute favourite from age 14 upwards! I still remember the way they fitted and the lovely denim. Right I might treat myself...

I'll need more than one pair so I'll also check out the m&s ones thanks.

Hate shopping for jeans but it's even worse now we can't try things on

I just bought a second hand pair of 501's on eBay for less than £20. Will see if I like them enough to buy another pair full price

Shopping for jeans is a pain OP, I think you'll have to bite the bullet and order various to get a pair you like that fit.

My preferred jeans are Topshop, you can choose your waist and leg length and I like the fit. I'm not really a Primark shopper but my all time favourite pair of jeans are their vintage straight leg. High waist, good fit, nicely slightly tapered leg, cheap as anything and they've lasted fantastically.

Primark jeans always look ok then as soon as they're washed they're like leggings. They have so much Lycra in them, I like jeans with more denim and less Lycra

Yes to the M&S Sienna Straight, and also their Magic Jeans. I have one of each and they are similar but the Magic have a higher waist (but the Sienna are still quite high too).

I'm also pear-shaped with a tummy and they're a great fit.
