I generally work in film & theatre, so used to actors getting hot/oily/sweaty brows and cheeks, from heat and lights etc, and the one I know most people to use are the Kleenex shine absorbing sheets.

A bit similar to @AngusThermopyle, but I use those brown recycled napkins you get in coffee shops. I read about it on a MakeupAlley ages ago and they're perfect, you can use them over make up and you only need one to do your entire face- I find if I use those little blotting sheets I need about half a dozen of them. I've always got a stash of napkins in my desk drawer at work now!

I really want to find the Papier Poudre type ones. See pic. They were brilliant and you used to be able to buy them in the 90s 😬
