night time hair wraps - can it be a modal scarf?

I've got a question for those of you who wrap your hair up at night. I see that silk is the touted as the best. I happen to have a very silky and soft modal scarf and I'm wondering if I can use this as a suitable alternative. I don't know how I'm going to get on with a night time hair wrap so I'd rather not buy a new thing just yet! DO you think a modal scarf would still be good for hair?

I don’t know but it can’t hurt to try, as it won’t cost you anything. I bought a silk one and noticed less frizz the next day, so hopefully you'd notice quite quickly whether it worked or not.

Thanks Wow, after looking it up on line and seeing no mention of benefits from other types of fabric, except satin, I just bought some silk bonnets. I'm going to look funny but I want to give it a try.
