My sister in law wears La Vie est Belle and I love it’s powdery gorgeousness but it’s horrible on me - far too sweet.. so I too was on the search for something similar but different. Elie Saab ‘Girl of Now’ seems very similar to me - I tried the deodorant body spray as was cheaper to try it out than the eau de toilette - really lovely. If you like woody notes too you might like Next’s Enchantment which is also powdery. Cheap as chips but It works on my skin and has a lot of depth for a cheapie.

Narciso Rodriguez Poudree is a lovely powdery scent.
