Shoes for tween girls

My DD is 10, and size 3 in shoes. I am really struggling to find her some non-school, non-trainer shoes! She hates leggings and loves dresses, so something to suit. But everywhere seems to be either black school shoes or trainers.
Can anyone recommend anywhere?

Converse or vans. That's what dd10 wears out of school.

Dr Martens

I should also mention that she doesn't like lace ups or any thing with a trainer vibe at all. And she prefers a pretty dainty look also.

Sigh.........

For winter, she'll struggle with the pretty dainty look. Does she wear boots as Chelsea style boots don't look like trainers or have laces?

@leafeater I do agree that Chelsea Boots are probably the way to go. And she probably needs to get to point of cold wet feet to convince her that practicalness does sometimes trump style!

I would have thought it was easier to find shoes in a 3 rather than more difficult.

I can't really picture what she would like but clarks always do a silver Hamble Oak brogue in the winter which would go with a lot of things.

Would she wear a shoe boot? They are designed to go with skirts so a bit more dainty.

With a dress and tights for winter, def ankle boots. Have a look at Next/M&S/Boden. They tend to do nice colours, metallics, animal print etc.

@SavoyCabbage I think that I need to make the shift to considering adult ranges!

She doesn't like lace ups, but I will definitely be considering shoe boots and ankle boots.

And now having had a look at the adult ranges, I can see why I resisted for so long! The prices are so much higher! Shock

Have prices gone up since lockdown? I haven't looked at shoes for myself for ages, so am clearly out of touch.

But in about 18months time, when she is a size 4.5, she may be getting some very nice shoes! WinkGrin
