Beauty salon advice

Whenever I go to have any beauty treatments I always panic towards the end when paying whether I should leave a tip. Recently I have not been and then have walked out feeling bad. What does everyone else do and what is reasonable to leave as a tip as I wouldn’t want to offend?

I never tip as I’m already paying for a service. If their prices aren’t covering costs/wages then they need to increase them.

I add about 10% then round up to the nearest pound. I used to live in the USA and got used to tipping (more than 10%) there.
