Life change - wardrobe change

My new job is working in a primary school with quite small children (thanks Covid). I have no idea what to wear.
I always wore skirts, dresses, jackets and heels in my old job. Absolutely no good for playing playdoh and finding interesting leaves in the playground.
At home I'm a total scruff in jeans and hoodies or gym clothes. Too casual for work.

The school tends to be casual - jeans and trainers fine.

I guess I need a new 'work uniform'. Give me a clue.

Maybe try sea salt or joules for comfortable, colourful clothes that wash well.

That's a really useful reply. Thank you.
I'm not putting those brand names into the local equivalent of ebay.
Oh, I could try Boden too.
Any more?

I'm a primary teacher too but I'm really struggling to think of what I wear 😂 looking forward to seeing some other replies! My tips are these - stretch chinos from gap, if you can get to a gap outlet or online they are often very cheap and washable
And secondly, try Instagram and Pinterest for inspiration, just search ks1 / eyfs teacher on instagram. You'll find there's a lot of teaching support and planning ideas for early years on instagram at the moment too

When I worked in schools leggings and tunics/smock type dresses were fine and worn by a lot of staff x
