Good quality shoe brands

I'd like to buy some new boots and don't mind spending a bit if they last for a few years. R&B used to be good but not any more. Where else you recommend?

I came on to say R&B. I still love their shoes and boots and think they wear well

I got a lovely pair from R&B last year. Way more £££ than I'd normally go.
Depends what style you're after...Solovair, Grenson's get good reviews on here. Or check out the En Brogue blog.

I really like Campers. Their design department has gone a bit nuts in the last few years, but the quality is good.

I've got down to just one pair of DMs - the Emmeline, but the Astronaut in burgundy is so tempting. I must have about 7 pairs of black ankle boots, and one brown.
