Coach Prairie Satchel

Has anyone bought the Coach Prairie Satchel who can tell me how long the crossbody strap is? On the website it says it is 53cm but this seems unusually short? Also, I’m planning on the sage/silver colour but this bag will be for everyday use - is this colour vulnerable to looking dirty and is it very green - on the website it looks more pale blue. Thanks.

I have one. I've quite a long body and it sits below my hip when I wear it cross body. I don't know the measurements though without digging out a tape measure. I absolutely love it. S&B made me buy it 🤣

My favourite bag. It's a proper long strap, I want another in navy or black

I have this in black, it’s my favourite bag had it a few years and has worn well and is the perfect size can hold my water bottle, small umbrella and sunglasses. The strap is long enough to be worn cross body and I’m size 16.

Gawd..I love a bit of Coach. Often to be found in TK Maxx these days.

I love coach bags and have several, (Including this one) but I find their cross body straps are the thing that let them down. Too short for me, and far too thin to be comfortable. It’s like they’ve decided they will sell better if they can be described as cross body, so they have chucked the cheapest possible solution in as an afterthought.

That bag has been in their sale before, might be worth holding out for the next sale to see if it goes again.

I can never get in with cross-body bags, please can anyone tell me whether the smaller handles are long enough to use as a shoulder bag?

I've got it in navy and I love it. I am seriously tempted to get one in black. I find it comfortable to use as a cross body, but the handles aren't long enough to go over the shoulder, only as a handheld IMO.
