Does this happen to anyone else?

The hair at the nape of my neck gets really, really matted and tangled throughout the day. I have no idea why! It started after getting my post lockdown hair colour/cut.

I don’t think it’s clothing as I’ve been wearing a variety of things recently

It only happens to me in the winter if I'm wearing a hat and scarf

I get this! looks ok until I turn around and my hair has gone all bushy and messy at the nape and I have long hair, it is fine and lightweight though so I’m think it’s just not heavy enough to lie nicely, it’s really annoying.

It is annoying! I had lots cut off recently, but it’s already breaking and snapping off in this area due to the extreme tangles

I’m guessing the recent highlights sucked the life out of my hair

I worked out it was because I wasn't spreading conditioner even,y at the back, so now I make sure to apply extra and comb through
