What coat style/ shape/ colour will be around this autumn and winter?
I am on the lookout for a new coat. I generally spend a bit on a decent, practical coat every few years and then buy a cheap(ish) fashion item for going out/ when I don't need a full waterproof/ it isn't -2 out.
I have a Barbour jacket for autumn/ spring rainy days and a Joules monstrosity for school run/ cold and wet days (previously rarely seen without a pushchair and so needed something with a hood) which will do for days when we have really bad weather.
Both my DC will be at school (and the pushchair is being packed away) and so I am on the lookout for something a bit nicer. Something smart that can be worn to work (my work is not very corporate, I can get away with smart jeans) or dressed down. A dark colour. I am a size 8, 5ft 6.
Budget around £300.
Any ideas? Any particular brands or shops you would recommend?
