This popped up on my Facebook feed this morning - clothes look nice and very reasonably priced. I have never bought clothes online before but with changing rooms closed I'm getting desperate!

I am interested in this as well. The dresses do look good.

Cheap shit made in China. Always look at the website not just a Facebook advert.

I too have been looking at Chicoday, I noticed a dress (long top as far as I am concerned)there for £13.79 which I bought on amazon a couple of years ago for £4.77 plus post probably. Gorgeous vibrant colourful dress/top which was just about worth £5 as the material was a bit like curtain lining material. But it is a really nice holiday dress/top. Unfortunately seeing this dress on the website made me question the quality of Chicoday which is how I have ended up joining Mumsnet.

I ordered 2 items from Chicoday, the same size. When I finally received the order after quite a long wait, the items couldn't have differed more in size. One was the right size, but the other was about 3 sizes smaller. The sleeves were impossibly narrow - they looked like they were meant for a child. The material was completely different from what I saw on the website photos. They asked me to send them the photos when I reported it which I thought was unnecessary since I'd already sent them the pictures showing how different the sizes were. I sent them more photos anyway. I was offered a 10% refund which they later increased to 20% (so I would have got just over £2 from them) with an alternative to return it. Returning goods to China isn't cheap but they don't offer a postage refund. One of the conditions they set is to not value an item above £2 when returning it due to their own customs (I guess they are trying to save on import duties). So if an item is lost in transit, you will get a £2 refund. The service is a disgrace. This has totally turned me off buying the companies that advertise an item that looks beautiful on a photo but when you get it the experience is totally different. Buy at your own risk.
