Something with a decent coverage but would suit middle aged skin please.

I have tried loads, but now just mix my normal foundation with this simple moisturiser I just wish it had a bit of sun protection, but i have a spray for that and i am mostly indoors anyhow.

I mix boots foundation drops and glow drops into my normal moisturiser.

Clinique sheertint

Laura Mercier. I'm 59, been using it for years

Garnier BB cream - I mix the original and the one for mature skin to get the right colour match and not too much glow

I use Nars radiant tinted moisturiser. Gives reasonable coverage.

Beauty Pie's tinted moisturiser is exactly the same as the Laura M one but 1/3 of the price

I used to use the Laura Mercier illuminating tinted moisturiser which I loved but they've discontinued it. I bought some of the LM oil free tinted moisturiser but it's a totally different consistency and is no where near as good. It feels heavy and greasy. The reviews of the other LM tinted moisturiser which is suppose to replace the illuminating one are awful and it's too expensive to buy just to see for myself!! So I'm following with interest. Also a mid lifer! Has anyone found anything similar to the LM illuminating? Is Nars any good?

Thanks folks, there are so many to choose from which is the issue! I have fairly normal skin and use Phoera normally which I like but it's pretty heavy coverage. Cheap as anything and great for a night out but too much during the day for me.

I use the Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser. I had never used one before, and I like it so much now that I don’t use foundation any more.

Marcelle golden glow illuminator

The old Laura Mercier was fab but the new one is awful and v much like a foundation. I love chantecaille just skin tinted moisturizer but it is expensive so not sure what your budget it.
I also love Glossier skin tint but it is just that, it covers nothing, just takes the edge off so your skin needs to be good to use it I think
