Dyson airwrap or supersonic

I have a jaw length inverted bob. Fine hair but lots of it. Tendency to frizz at any hint of damp in the air. I've never been any good at blow drying and usually blast dry and then straighten but hair is starting to look quite damaged so I want to try to cut out the straighteners. For reference my hairdresser can get it perfectly straight with just a dryer, so I know it's possible! I 'm thinking that the shorter barrel length on the Dyson hairdryer and lighter weight/different balance might make it easier for me to master the blowdry. Has anyone found that (or am I just trying to justify the purchase!!). Or does anyone have experience of the airwrap on similar length/style of hair? I like the idea of the smoothing brush but would never use the curling attachments so seems like a huge outlay for a hotbrush. But if you tell me it's brilliant for my hair type/style I'd be willing to give it a go on the Dyson 35 day trial.

I have tried the babyliss big hair petite but found it got too hot,and left me with fluffy triangular hair. I've got much better results with the paddle brush attachment on the Babyliss Air Style 1000W, but still needed to go over with straighteners to iron out kinks/frizz.

Just for blow drying a Bob I prefer my Dyson Hairdryer, the Air Wrap doesn't really do much for shorter hair and I had to buy the smaller brush head for fine hair as an extra and whilst better than the larger brush heads it's still not as good as a good round brush and the dryer.

Be careful if you think you may want to use the 35 day return guarantee.
Take a look at some example reviews below.

uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.dyson.com

I can speak from personal experience that their customer service is non existent currently and has been for at least the last 2 months.

I'm still waiting for them to arrange a courier to pick up a product and it is a nightmare.

From the reviews I've read, it seems that they are just blatantly ignoring a huge number of their customers and blocking any requests for help.

Over 60 - 80 minute waits on their phone line and you get cut off at random.

Live chat function is turned off.

They either ignore emails or you get a reply after 7 - 10 days promising to sort things out but then no further action appears.

Really regret my purchase and would never use them in future.

I've got the dryer and tried the Airwrap. I love the dryer and returned the Airwrap.
