I have a jaw length inverted bob. Fine hair but lots of it. Tendency to frizz at any hint of damp in the air. I've never been any good at blow drying and usually blast dry and then straighten but hair is starting to look quite damaged so I want to try to cut out the straighteners. For reference my hairdresser can get it perfectly straight with just a dryer, so I know it's possible! I 'm thinking that the shorter barrel length on the Dyson hairdryer and lighter weight/different balance might make it easier for me to master the blowdry. Has anyone found that (or am I just trying to justify the purchase!!). Or does anyone have experience of the airwrap on similar length/style of hair? I like the idea of the smoothing brush but would never use the curling attachments so seems like a huge outlay for a hotbrush. But if you tell me it's brilliant for my hair type/style I'd be willing to give it a go on the Dyson 35 day trial.
I have tried the babyliss big hair petite but found it got too hot,and left me with fluffy triangular hair. I've got much better results with the paddle brush attachment on the Babyliss Air Style 1000W, but still needed to go over with straighteners to iron out kinks/frizz.
