Hair claw thingies

Could you tell me of your favourites?
I have grown my hair during lockdown and want to twist it up into a messy bun.
The 3 I have bought are not quite right - too big, too small, flat bottomed!
Don't want to waste any more money so looking for recommendations.

Lindsey clip.

Not sure of spelling but I had some when my hair was longer. Pretty secure grip. I bought from Claires.

My hair is really thick so I struggle with those claw clips as they just fall out. If you're open to other things though I can highly recommend hair forks/French pins. They are the ONLY thing that hold my hair in buns, chignons etc and do not budge!

Have you tried spiral hair pins? They're pretty good for using in a wide range of hair styles. Pretty resilient too, I've got a few that I've had for about 20 years (had them since my long hair teen era, now use them for DD).

Definitely open to new things

Hair forks might work
My hair is thick, curly but very fine - not sure I'd ever be able to remove those spiral ones!
