Shoes for elderly mum

I'm not sure that this should really be in style and beauty but I'm looking for some comfortable shoes for my mum who's in her eighties. She says she wants comfort and doesn't care what they look like but she'd probably prefer a dark coloured lace up.

I tried ordering a pair from Hotter but they were too tight across the toes so I'm looking for a wide fitting. Thanks in advance to anyone who has any recommendations.

Try cosyfeet. They do 'extra roomy' shoes.

Hotter & Clarks do wide fit as do M&S Footglove.

Came on to say Cosyfeet too.

Thanks everyone. Cosyfeet look good, although very elderly looking so I'll have to see what she thinks of them!

Pavers do wider comfy shoes.

There's a medical supplies shop in my town and they sell shoes. Might be somewhere to try.

Cosyfeet do a stretch shoe with a good deep toe box .
MIL’s podriatrist recommended THESE
She chose the Velcro Mary-Jane style and has been very pleased with them .
