Rejuvenated Collagen Shots

Hi. I went to see a skin specialist yesterday and during our conversation she said she takes 'Collagen Shots' by Rejuvenated and recommended them to me. She wouldn't make any money from me buying it so I'm guessing it's truly a good product IHO. I was wondering if anyone here takes/has taken this and, if so, what you saw in terms of results. Thank you.

I have been taking this product for over a year, maybe 5 days our of 7. Last year my hair dresser said I had lots a new baby hair coming through and I asked if I had been taking anything - I replied yes the rejuvenated collagen shoots but didn't think anything more of it. I stopped taken them around around May this year due to money (lack off due bring furloughed etc) the past month I have noticed my skin is feels really dry, especially legs and arms, face a little meh but also and this is the big one my hair feels especially dry which I put down to not taking the collagen shots which also have vit c and zinc. I didn't notice an overnight amazing skin and hair transformation when taking them but now I've stopped I've noticed a difference. There is another brand I may try as these particular powder shoots can taste a tiny bit fishy sometimes, it's not the best drink on an morning empty stomach. I'm thinking of starting up again or maybe try Botin tablets for my hair, as £43 a bag it is the cheap. I'm sure someone will be along soon to say they don't work not clinically proven etc etc. However this is just my personal view / experience. Smile

Did you watch that show on the BBC last night? I think it was called Them Truth about Cosmetic Surgery’. They conducted a study with a consultant dermatologist about various skin rejuvenation treatments and collagen shots was one of them. After 12 weeks there was no difference in skin appearance, water retention or elasticity after 12 weeks x

I’d like to see hard evidence off an impartial dermatologist before I buy them.

Don’t forget things like collagen tablets etc are likely to be used when the persons on a health kick that includes general straightening up and flying right.

Any source of protein you eat is going to hit your bloodstream after 20 minutes. A tin of sardines in oil would do you more good which is what the Perricone diet advises, oily fish and vegetables.

Good point re people possibly taking this stuff as part of an overall health kick. It's not cheap so I may give it a miss for now. Thanks everyone.

Try the perricone diet, it’s not discussed much now but it seems to work.
