New bob cut- how to style

At the weekend I had my long-ish but very fine hair cut into a bob which I love, it looks so much thicker and healthier.

But the age old question- how can I style it as well as the hairdresser did? She blow dried with an Aveda thickening foam which I have purchased now and then used the straighteners. I really want to avoid using straighteners at home as my hair will just become more damaged- any tips? My hair looks a little fluffy around the ends now rather than nice and smooth and silky. Help!

Use protective spray before you style it and when you get to the ends slightly curl it under and it will hang straight.

What are you using to dry it? I love my dyson air wrap brush for this, but it's a lot of £.

Hairdressers are really good at drying hair with air flowing downwards, and all the way to the ends.

I thank my revlon one step for my smooth (albeit fine) hair every time I use it. A heat protector too though is a good idea and I rub hair oil into the ends of my hair before using my one step (and if the weather is changeable, sometimes after it’s fully dry too)
