inserts to make shoes smaller?

Is there such a thing? I got a lovely pair of flat shoes off ebay for a great price. they are "my size" but come up big - my feet are slipping out them as I walk. I wondered if there is such a thing that can be put in to make them a bit smaller? Or do I need to admit defeat and sell them on...?

I recommend cherry blossom leather inserts if you are trying to go down 1/2 a size
All the foam ones soon get creased or disintegrate

I’ve had these over 6 months and are still in great condition

Having really small feet (size 1.5-2) I've had a lifetime of trying to make shoes that are too big for me fit, and to be honest, I have never found anything that really works. If they are just a tiny bit too big innersoles might help and you could try some heel grippers as well, but I have to say that I've found that at best these are a temporary fix as shoes tend to stretch as you wear them. You've got nothinb to lose by trying though.

Just any old regular insoles or heel grips... This is when I miss Woolworths
