Net A Porter - Miu Miu

Does anybody know why Net A Porter are currently not stocking Miu Miu clothes? They used to carry the whole range, now it’s only accessories. Are Miu Miu in trouble? Are Net A Porter in trouble? Does anybody have any inside info? Thanks.

There's been rumblings at NAP for quite sometime with a lot of high level excels abandoning ship. Business of Fashion keeps track of that industry talk but it's mostly behind a pay wall.

Not sure about Miu Miu, NAP have been focusing much more on up and coming sustainable brands in favour of the diffusion brands (it's Prada's younger sister brand) so it could make sense that they're axing a brand that has fallen into irrelevance for years.

NAP also had a weird promo quite early on into last season for 40% off on Prada exclusively which came across as odd but they announced hiring Raf Simons to work alongside Miucci Prada as head designers not long before that, so that will sustain them a bit, probably, not sure what that means for Miu Miu, anything can happen in these times but it's been in trouble for quite some time artistically speaking.

Have you tried contacting NAP customer service, they're usually very helpful and they'll give you a more definitive answer?

@botemp Thanks for the info. Miu Miu is such an interesting brand, it would be so sad if they ceased trading. I’m in Australia and the Miu Miu store here only gets ONE item of each size in each design. I don’t understand it. How they can they possibly make a profit with such low stock.
