High waisted jeans for pear shapes

I am in dire need of some new jeans. I have average length leg and am a size 10 in most places, but a 12 in some. I have a relatively slim waist and wide hips. Does anyone with a similar figure have a pair of jeans that never fails to look great and be comfy? Am looking for a reasonably high waist. Thanks in advance.

I am similarly sized but they just look bad on me because my stomach isn't washboard flat. I think you really need a completely flat stomach to get away with them. Do you have a flat stomach?

I have a similar shape, and do have a flat stomach. My fail safe jeans are Whistles barrel legs, which I have in various colours. I also like Levi’s 501s, and Levi’s balloon legs.

I’ve not worn skinny jeans in years, but when I did I liked All Saints Stilt. I’m 5ft 6, and used to get them shortened a wee bit by the alterations place because they came up a bit long.

I like the M&S high waist, straight leg Magic ones.

They're cheap and cheerful, and won't last forever, but I really like new look's hallie jeans. I'm the same size and shape as you with a relatively flat stomach and big hips and thighs and struggle to find jeans that fit around my arse without gaping at the waist.

I'm a size 12 with hourglass shape and I love the Levi's 721 - high waisted skinnies. They always look good and fit really well at the waist.

I have a similar shape and love Topshop Jamie jeans. They're the only ones that don't gape at the back.
