Supportive but smart shoes/boots help!

Following on from the autumn thread, I’m in need of some help & stylish guidance please! I need some brands to explore that do supportive but still stylish boots.

Backstory, last year I bust my knee and needed major surgery (think 6 months off work and over a year of physio). Subsequently any sort of heeled shoe is now a no-no as my balance and leg strength still aren’t fully recovered.

Last winter I was still wearing trainers for work but this year I’d like something smarter, to replace my old brown/black heeled ankle boots. I’m a senior healthcare professional & usually wear dresses or smart black jeans/jumper. If anyone can direct to some go-to brands, please do!

Have a look at Ecco, vionics, hotter, gabor, josef seibel, clarkes.

I find fitflop shoes and boots really comfortable. Take a look at their website, they do lots of more formal styles as well as the flip flop

Another vote for fitflop! Very supportive and comfortable in a range of styles.
