Help me select a mini face lift surgeon

I'm 48. I had an upper and lower blapheroplasty when I was 35 and would like to have it done again. I wouldn't go back where I had the first one done (Viel brothers, Harley street) because it was OK but I wasn't over the moon about it. For the life of me I cannot remember how I selected the surgeons I had consultations with (four I think. I guess I used Google) and I also think that things may have changed so there may be bodies now that you can consult to find a certain 'calibre' of surgeon, or something.

In addition to the blapheroplasty I think I'd like a mini face lift. I look good for my age but my jowls are beginning to droop so I'd like them gone.

Has anyone recently gone through the process of finding a surgeon? If so, how would you recommend I approach this? Or, even better, would you be able to recommend someone? I'm happy to consider surgeons in London or the home counties.

Thank you.

Anyone? So far the only one I have found (via another thread her on MN) is in York. I'm 45 minutes south of London! There must be a few good surgeons you would recommend closer to London ;-)

I have heard very good reviews of cadogan clinic and maryam zamani. Haven't tried myself though

But for jowls I have done face massages and have seen good results. You can keep doing these in the meantime - 10-15 min videos from youtube.

@AnaViaSalamanca Thank you. Any videos in particular you would recommend? And how often do you do the massages? And after how long did you start seeing results? (sorry about the Spanish inquisition).

I've checked those two places/surgeons. They seem very good. Thanks for the tip.

Have you done some research on RealSelf? You should be able to put in your area and specific surgery you're wanting which will bring up real customer reviews and pictures.

@WineGetsMeThroughIt I wasn't aware of it. I'll take a look this evening. Thank you!
