Navy sweatshirt?

RooKangaroo · 22/08/2020 22:36

I'm looking for a navy or dark blue sweatshirt, ideally with a logo or slogan on the front. Not a hoodie.

It sounds so basic but the ones I find are either incredibly expensive or poor quality (bad reviews).

Has anyone seen or bought a good one recently?

Thank you

Try Manamou.co.uk, great for sweatshirts, jumpers and loungewear.

Bluesheep8 · 23/08/2020 08:46

I got one from Sainsburys

Whistles often have sweatshirts with slogans Or images on, the only one I can find in navy at the mo is this one www.whistles.com/product/cherry-embroidered-sweat-31790.html

Maison La Biche always have a few sweatshirts too with slogans - you can buy them online but also from UK sites like Liberty.

These are lovely (I absolutely don’t have it in 4 colours 😳😂). Very soft, washes well, goes with everything. Quite generous on sizing www.jackwills.com/astbury-raglan-crew-sweatshirt-ladies-662926?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhoSu2vK06wIVz9_tCh2X2ALXEAQYASABEgLBcPD_BwE#colcode=66292622

Also quite like Pickle London

I just got one from Joanie. joanieclothing.com/bronte-readers-club-sweatshirt-navy.html

RooKangaroo · 25/08/2020 22:49

Thank you all! I've looked through the links and there's a lot here I haven't seen before or thought of, so really appreciate it.

I like the Joanie one, but I like the lack of apostrophe will piss me off (sorry 🙈).

Like the Jack Wills one too and might order. Thanks!

I have a plain fruit of the loom one, it was about £8 new from an eBay retailer.

I like NeonMarl - really soft and comfortable.

notheragain4 · 25/08/2020 23:13

I love Joanie, not a logo but I have the rainbow one, it fits so nicely.

Mere1 · 26/08/2020 19:00

Monki do one. Plain dark navy.

violetmartini · 26/08/2020 19:08

Off topic but the slogan on the joanie sweater doesn't need an apostrophe. It's a club for avid readers (plural) as opposed to a club belonging to an avid reader, which would require an apostrophe!

Iksu · 26/08/2020 19:27

Surely if it is the club of avid readers, plural, it would need to be ‘avid readers’ club’? Agree OP, I couldn’t have a grammatically incorrect jumper, it would make me too cross to wear it!
Sorry, no helpful suggestions about the actual question!

homemadecommunistrussia · 26/08/2020 19:37

rapuni? Although I am not sure if it's navy or black.

AnyFucker · 26/08/2020 19:44

I saw a nice slouchy round neck one in Next today

I have to be quite pedantic about apostrophes for work, but I wouldn't say that that logo needs one. It's a club for readers, not a club that belongs to readers. "Avid Readers" is modifying "Club" - it's not a possessive. But you'd have to be happy, it's your bosom Grin

winterisstillcoming · 26/08/2020 23:04
