Rosacea

I have what I am pretty sure is Rosacea on my nose-It is only over the nostrils, red patches with sometimes a breakout of tiny white spots.
I use an exfoliator twice weekly but although the redness seems to have toned down abit, I think I would benefit from some cream.
I do not want to go to the Doctors really with everything like it is( seems a bit time wastery) so wondering what anyone could recommend?
I shall call in at the Chemist anyway but good to have an idea of what has worked for anyone else.
Thank you

I have rosacea and when it flares up my nose is red, sore & spotty. Does exfoliating not irritate it? I’ve never been able to exfoliate my skin without it getting sore. In the past I’ve used soolantra cream which was great whilst it worked, now it’s not effective on my skin I’ve just started using finacea cream. I find personally the less I use the better and I tend to stick to the basics xx

Some forms of roseacea is considered an overgrowth of demodex mites. I think this is as a result of a lowered immune system. Before you do too much to irritate your skin further might it not be an idea to get a diagnosis as to the origin of it?
